Northeastern Law’s Center for Global Law and Justice (CGLJ) recently launched the Center for Global Law and Justice Resource Hub to support human rights advocacy, scholarship and journalism around the world. In a competitive process, CGLJ was selected in 2024 to take the reins of the International Justice Resource Center (IJRC) Online Resource Hub, which contains an unparalleled collection of human rights materials and attracts as many as 75,000 visitors per month from more than 190 countries. The hub is located at cglj.org. IJRC executive director Lisa Reinsberg and the IJRC Board of Directors recently helped secure a $550,000 grant to support CGLJ’s work and stewardship of the hub.

“The resources developed, collected and organized by Lisa Reinsberg and her team have facilitated important human rights scholarship and advocacy across the globe,” said Elizabeth Ennen ’08, director of CGLJ. “We are thrilled and honored to assume responsibility for these resources. Thanks to the philanthropic support this project has received, we will be able to create a resource hub at Northeastern that honors the work of the IJRC and expands it in novel directions.”
