David Simon Joins CLASSICA Research Project on Medical AI and the Law

Surgical Intelligence

Professor David A. Simon has joined CLASSICA, an EU-funded research project that seeks to improve cancer surgery outcomes by integrating AI into the operating theater. Simon is a core member of the CLASSICA team based at the University of Illinois College of Law at Urbana-Champaign, which is tackling key legal and ethical challenges related to AI-assisted surgery.
