Jackson Contributes to Legal Design Manifesto
NuLawLab executive director Dan Jackson ’97 traveled to Helsinki in September to facilitate a panel, “Legal + Design + Education = Inventing the Future,” for Legal Design Summit 2023, the largest legal design event in the world. The three-day summit convened an eclectic mix of legal designers, lawyers, artists, activists and educators to share outcomes from pioneering projects and chart the future of this emerging field.
“The goal of our interdisciplinary education panel was to create a legal design education manifesto,” explained Jackson. “After our panel generated a series of statements, we crowdsourced and distributed the manifesto over LinkedIn. We hope it will be a blueprint for legal designers on the role we all play as educators when we supervise young talent.”
