What happens when you bring a remarkable cohort of former government leaders into conversation with a law school community? You get the Northeastern Law and Policy Fellows Program — and, as it turns out, some pretty compelling reading. Launched in 2025–2026 a joint initiative of Northeastern University’s Center for Public Interest Advocacy and Collaboration at the School of Law and the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, the one-year program was designed for individuals at a career inflection point, each bringing deep government experience, an exceptional generosity of spirit and an unwavering commitment to public service. They also put pen to paper. Below, a sampling of their thinking.
