Back to Class Night showcased the work of faculty members Daniel Medwed, Hilary Robinson and Richard Daynard, who spoke about their groundbreaking research and innovative courses. Professor Hemanth Gundavaram moderated.

Saturday Night Soirée
Our gala reunion class reception at East Village on Saturday night featured a moving keynote by Kathy McHugh ’74, Northeastern trustee emerita, who said, “I stand in awe of the rich and rewarding careers of my many classmates who have made a world of difference. You have remained social justice warriors throughout your career. I doubt any other law school could say that.”

Documents related to the 1945 killing of Hattie DeBardelaben, a 46-year-old Black mother and grandmother whose case was investigated by Northeastern Law’s Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project (CRRJ), were made publicly available in November as the first set of records released by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under the Civil Rights Cold Case Records Collection Act.
Northeastern Law’s Program on Human Rights and the Global Economy (PHRGE) recently released a new report, Accessing Municipal Police Policies in Massachusetts Using Public Records Requests.
